My name is Jay White, and I am running to be your next Town Councillor for Whitby's North Ward.

For many years, I have considered becoming more involved in local government, and serving on Town Council has long been a goal of mine. My decision to run comes after years of professional experience, raising my family in Whitby, operating a local business, and gaining a firsthand understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing our growing community. I believe the North Ward deserves strong representation, open communication, and a councillor who will always put residents first.

Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in business, project management, budgeting, and stakeholder relations, I am committed to being an accessible, accountable, and engaged representative who listens to residents, advocates for their priorities, and ensures their voices are heard in the decisions that shape our community. Together, we can continue building a North Ward that remains safe, vibrant, and welcoming for current and future generations.
